Dr Helen Arabatzis graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1998 and has been in private practice since 1999 located in Brunswick. For the past 16 years, Dr Arabatzis has been mentoring and working alongside a large number of practitioners including 5 dentists, 4 hygienists and a visiting oral surgeon.
Dr. Arabatzis has a special interest in Dental Implant and completed Surgical levels 1, 2, and 3 with The Australasian Society of Implant Dentistry in 2001. She received further training in the field in both the surgical and restorative aspects of the treatment, as well as in Soft Tissue Management through Nobel Biocare and Aesculap Academy at the Australian College of Surgeon.
In 2006, Dr. Arabatzis completed her training in NobelGuide with Dr. Patrick Henry in Auckland, and in 2008 Dr. Arabatzis undertook a mini-residency in Implant Dentistry at the Brånemark Training Centre in Marseilles in France under the supervision of Dr. Patrick Palacci. She also completed training of Modules 1, 2, 3, and 4 through Implant Team Academy.By 2009 Dr Arabatzis has built her experience in Dental Implants and decided to enhance her skills by completing a Masters’s program in Implant Dentistry with the GIDE Institute at the University of California Los Angeles. She is now part of the alumni group in UCLA with the mentorship of Dr. Sascha Jovanovich.
