Overview
Digital Smile Design is part of the treatment planning process before All-On-4 Plus® surgery. During your clinical assessment, your clinician gathers digital records, including photographs and scans, to assist with planning your individual treatment.
Using CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design) software, your clinician can plan the proposed position, angle and depth of each implant before you enter the surgical facility. This information forms part of the overall treatment planning process before surgery is undertaken.
Digital photographs and scans are used to assess factors such as tooth position, jaw structure, facial proportions and smile characteristics. This information assists with developing your individual treatment plan and planning your All-On-4 Plus® smile.
Digital Smile Design also allows your proposed smile to be digitally modified before surgery. From this planning process, your clinician can design your All-On-4 Plus® Immediate Final Teeth™ as part of your individual treatment plan. Immediate Final Teeth™ are placed 1 to 2 days after surgery.
