What Is All-On-4 Plus®?
All-On-4 Plus® is a comprehensive full-arch dental implant solution designed to replace an entire upper or lower arch of teeth using four or more strategically positioned implants to support a fixed bridge. Developed by Dr Alex Fibishenko, a leader in contemporary full-arch implant treatment, the approach is designed to provide immediate function and long-term stability, often without the need for bone grafting.
Key features of the All-On-4 Plus® approach include:
- Fixed provisional teeth: A set of fixed provisional teeth is typically attached on the day of surgery.
- Titanium-reinforced bridge: The bridge incorporates a strong titanium framework designed to provide support and durability over the long term.
- Digital treatment planning: Digital technology is used to plan implant positioning and guide placement with a focus on accuracy.
- Individualised smile design: The appearance and design of the teeth are planned with consideration of the patient's facial proportions and bite.
- Reduced need for bone grafting: In many cases, the strategic positioning of implants means extensive bone grafting may not be required, potentially simplifying the treatment process.
At All-On-4 Plus® Newcastle, treatment follows Dr Fibishenko's established clinical protocols. This provides a consistent, research-informed framework for treatment, with an emphasis on careful planning, precision, quality and patient care.
As a fixed-teeth solution, All-On-4 Plus® is designed to address the functional and aesthetic considerations associated with replacing a full arch of teeth. For suitable patients, a fixed implant-supported bridge may provide an alternative to removable dentures and can support everyday activities such as eating and speaking.
Treatment is individually planned according to each patient's clinical circumstances, with the overall approach focused on implant stability, function, aesthetics and long-term maintenance. The strategic use of implants can also mean that extensive bone grafting is not required in many cases.
